Default Call of Duty 4 Question

My fav so far of this series was Call of Duty 2.

I saw reviews of Call of Duty 4 and to me it seems way different vs 2 and 3. More like Halo and less like 2 and 3 am I right about this?

I only play single player so I wanted to hear from people who liked Call of Duty 2 and have tried Call of Duty 4 is it worth my time and money to buy this game? Is this game shorter length wise vs 2 and 3.

Thanks

I hated CoD1 and CoD2, but CoD4 isn't too bad.

If you're only going to play single player just rent it. It's a great game.

If someone bunged it infront of me and asked me what game it was without me knowing, and let me play for an hour or two i would say soley on the gameplay it is a Call of Duty game, it does resemble the other CoD's, more so 2 than any others (but rightly so, 3 was bad and 2 is better than 1) It is more difficult online, and some major new aspects and variation to the single player.

I'd say you will enjoy it.

And yes, Mr. Torrence is a cool guy, if i understand correctly what Ste is on about.

absolutely love CoD4. much more fun than CoD2 i reckon, although I admit i am only talking about single player here. never played either in multi player.

CoD4 just seems to flow better action wise, it is always full on, running round, enemies popping up, firing fast etc. CoD2 felt clunky in comparison, really cliche situations really, you sit at the top of a house. enemys come in waves, waiting to be mowed down. v predictable. i still enjoyed CoD2, but CoD4 is somethin else entirely. love it
