Is there any way to backup ( ) xbox games without having to mod the xbox?

I would really prefer not to do that..

Thanks guys,

not that i'm aware of. the idea is to copy the game to a dir on your xbox hd, the only way u can do that is to mod the box.

you can use certain apps to copy some games to a dvdr, but you'll still need a modchip inside. if you have some $$$ and just don't want to mod yours, u can buy a 'modded' xbox off the net.

It requires an ftp transfer that will rewrite the original files on the harddrive and replaces them with updated source files that disables the auto reboot every time the drawer is opened.

I have all of the stuff to do it I just haven't tried it as I already have my box modded.
