Default 2 connections to monitor?

Hello, I was wondering if there would be a way to connect my Pc AND my Xbox 360 to my monitor. I have a 22 inch monitor i am currently using on my Xbox 360, and I have the VGA cable to my xbox. Is there an adapter so I can plug both my PC and my Xbox to the monitor like a KVM switch or something? The only thing I have seen with the KVM switched is that it has the cord to connect straight to 2 pc's. Can I just get one of those and then use a male to female adapter to put on the end of the VGA cable? Thanks for your help

If your monitor doesn't support two video inputs then you can use a KVM switch to connect your PC and XBox. However most LCD monitors have a DVI and a VGA port both of which you can select in the monitor's menu. I'm not sure I understand the last part of your question though. If you could clarify it that would help .

I already told you. You can buy a KVM switch and then you select which connection you want to use.

It only has a single d-sub so you are forced to use a kvm port switcher
