I played on Private Servers and even ran one myself after I quit the real WoW. They are very fun at first but if you choose a Funserver that has like ridiculous rates like x100 exp or something and like x50 gold...It gets boring really fast. They do have "Blizz-like" servers in which have the same rates as the real WoW, but most of them are really empty...Same with the Funservers.

It's actually pretty easy to set it up to play on a Private Server..You just need to download World of Warcraft from worldofwarcraft.com then find a Private Server of your choice...They'll usually have a place you can register your name for the server and such..Then you'll have to go into your World of warcraft folder and find a wordpad or notepad file called "Realmlist.wtf" (Yes, it has wtf at the end...But it's real..). Then once your inside that file, you'll have to edit one of the lines to the Private Servers IP. Then it's as simple as starting the game up..

thats sad, just go on it for 6 hours a night and you level up by one or two each night till about 35 or 40. If not buy brian kopps leveling guide, got me to 70 in about a month. (Spent some serious time, summer holidays you see, still quick though)

Unlike my WoW-Playing friends, I got a life. I rarely ever had the 6 hours block of my life to dedicate myself to a Molten Core Run. (Or what ever other big instance that people are running these days.)

MMO-wise, I am back playing Eve Online. The MMO where you can still level up your skills and not even have to keep your computer on.

I agree pretty much with Harper. I don't have a lot of time playing the game for one, another this is there are so many instances that I wanted to try but many do not, because they are to hard. Fun to do once, but wouldn't wanna do it again. Well, good thing about some of these servers, like the one I am on the highest attainable level is 256. I could solo many of those instances if I so choose. Since I don't get to play very often, its nice to level up fast and get to where I want.
