over all it really come down to the motherboard. Does your motherboard have an AGP slot?

If so yes, then I any AGP video card would be fine. However, I would not be going to any less than a GeForce FX5700 128Mb if you want to future proof yourself for next years games.

When it comes down to video cards, it really comes down to how much money are you looking at spending.

The other thing that you might want to do is upgrade your RAM to at least 512Mb.

Yes, as long as you have an AGP slot, you should be able to use any AGP graphics card at 4x speeds at least.

i agree with zimon. i have heard that those ati radeon 9200's are rubbish. go for 9600pro or 9600xt.

How do I tell if its 4x or 8x, and where would I check for the AGP slot?

well you will have to check the box of the card to see if it is 4x or 8x. you can check your motherboard box to see if it supports 4x or 8x. you can find the AGP slot on your board above the PCI slots.

NOTE: you can still run a 4x AGP card in a 8x AGP slot
