Default Starship Troopers

For those that havnt been following the development, Empire Interactice is releasing a new version PC game on Starship troopers, the 90's classic thats based on the 1959 book written by some dude.

Been a fan of the first movie and disgusted by the second (See IMDB for Reference) I am eagerly awaiting this new shooter.
What are your guys thoughts on this? check it out on Gamespot via this link Starship Troopers

Having played the demo...miserable game. I am surprised that it has gotten as much attention as it has so far.

The performance sucked on my system for some reason, and the graphics really aren't that wonderful. Gameplay in the demo was horrid. Same old, same old...kill a bunch of bugs and run around.

If I wanted to do what this game has to offer, I can do it with more fun on a Half Life 2 mod.

I loved the first Starship Troopers and I wish the second never excisted and the graphics have to be put down some because you have 300 enemies all there at once.

And it's usually you vs. ALL of them.

I played the demo. it was alright, except i could never beat that **** ambush when about a million bugs attack you. This is coming from an experienced FPS player playing it on easy.

Yeah, I've played the demo. I could only see that this game was what GameGURU said it's YOU vs ALL of the bugs/monsters.

Maybe it won't be all by yourself in the fullgame. I hope so because that would kind of ruin the epic battle feeling from the movie.
