Default StarForce

I just bought Midway Arcade Treasures 2 and 3 from Target because it has all the Mortal Kombat games and a bunch of other cool old school games on it, and it was only ten bucks. Anyway, I got both of them installed but when I go to run them this validation box pops up saying StarForce Authentication and it says it's checking the cd or whatever, then it goes away and nothing happens. I was talking to a guy at work about it and he said a lot of people have been complaining about it. Is there anyway to get around it or do I need to call Midway and b***h?

how long have you let it go after the box disapeared?

i know that it takes a ***** of a long time for my trackmania game.
and i highly doubt there is any way around it...at least that is what i've heard in the TM community....
it's blocked on VISTA as well...can't even play the game on it

i'd call i guess and see what is going on.

Start force can be removed, but it will mean you can't play online.

If a game has starforce it needs to be something special as it is protection that makes the paying users very mad.
