In my opinion LAN is a requirement for a good RTS.

Nah, it was on Digg today... I don't play WoW.

It was titled something like, "The real way to get Blizzard to add LAN to SC2."

I will sign it. I don't think this has been said yet but blizzard is doing this to combat what happened in china. Millions of people pirated star craft and used a website to play with each other using the lan feature. And then blizzard sued the website and lost and was counter sued I believe. It mostly happened in china is what I mean.

I would like to enjoy this game... my guess is I will be playing it at lan just as much as online so of course I want an easy lan feature.

We're over half way to 100k.

If they want, they could make lan a regionalized feature and not give it to the Chinese version. Then most of them won't be able to read anything when they pirate a different version.
