| StarCraft II LAN Does it bother you that the highly anticipated, and likely best RTS of the decade is going to feature no LAN ? It does me. Alot, infact it's a deal breaker as to whether i'd get the game.
If it bothers you, sign the petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/LANSC2/petition.html
Blizzard do actually listen to petitions, such as the past one for Diablo 3. |

| Re: StarCraft II LAN Gah, nah. This one is just important ^^ And it's not my petition..
You people need a slap ! you clearly have no friends to play LAN with  I dunno whether ya'll realise but the reason the first one was loved so much is because of the LAN features, the LAN contests etc.. that is why its still around today.. |

Setting up a private match with you and your friends can be so hard to do over the internet on some games it's annoying, and then you have to put up with lag etc.
If they did LAN, friends could just play at someones house together, or over Hamachi. It solves so many issues.. |

| Re: StarCraft II LAN Private games on SC are not hard to set up on the internet. Heck, me and Hefe play together all the time, and considering he's in Sweden and sometimes latency is an issue, I think we do just fine.
Don't really see too many issues with it, unless playing online somehow will get worse with SC2. The only way I can see no LAN being a problem is for LAN parties.

| Re: StarCraft II LAN They obviously did it because Warcraft III and other games can easily be played via third party programs such as Hamachi and Garena without CD keys - through the LAN mode.
However, I think they forgot that Korea made the game what it is today, and the percentage of Asian gamers who only play at LAN centers is MUCH higher than the rest of the world.
Dumb by them. It wouldn't be necessary if they didn't sell the game in three parts... maybe people would actually buy the game if it was a normal price. |

| Re: StarCraft II LAN Signed. I figured blizz would be the first ones to do something like this. I would have thought Valve, but there is no need for them to pull something like this since they got all that steam bs.

| Re: StarCraft II LAN yeah well they probably don't care about the asian market because lets be honest, there is no asian market... they all use pirated software
It will be hacked almost immediately to have LAN play anyway.

Really ? must be some major lag. That said, Sweden has a pretty robust high speed internet infrastructure.
