| Is this game any good? If it is good I am not sure that I want to fork over the money to buy the game but also pay to play the game.

| Ultra Techie | I bought it and was very disapointed that I paid $50 USD for it. Its not that its a bad game, its just not th type of game I expected. I thought it would be your standard RTS like starcraft, warcraft, or C&C. Where you control one skirmish at a time. Instead I got an empire building RTS where you have to build and maintain an empire and skirmishes are popping up all over the place. Not my type of RTS. If you like Rome total war, then you would probably like this game.

Star Wars Galaxies is a MMORPG. It was very very good before they made the CU and NGE. Personally, i think it has the best PvP system. Always got a rush out of massive PvP.

Like they just changed the combat system just stortly after the release of the Episode III expansion. And with SOE chopping and changing every thing, it making a lot of players leave the game. Like there is a lot of low population servers because of it. Plus there was server reset every 2nd night that annoyied me. After they announce NGE, I just put my foot down and told SOE where they could stick it. There is no sence in playing the game if some one is going to change the rules all the time. Go by yourself a copy of KOTOR or KOTOR II and just make do with that. Quote:
* From the same vendor One thing i did not miss about the orginal system was having the queue up for Doc Buff just so you could get into your armor.

| SWG was the one game that got me into PvP, ever since ive been a PvP freak. I really want to start it again, probably will once they fix crafting. Right now, looted weapons blow crafted out of the water, and theres so much inflation, its insane.

| Nah, don't get Star Wars Galaxies...if you could get SW Galaxies 2 years ago, I'd say go for it; however, the changes ruined everything.
