Default Soldier Of Fortune Payback

I am very early in this game....it is pretty much a mindless shooter....not much story, characters, or voice acting. AI is pretty dumb too....Also no quicksave.

The hit boxes seemed abit screwed up at times too......some enemies die right away, others take a whole clip to kill.....which seems really stupid

It is too bad too because the graphics are nice, with nice explosions... and popping guys heads off is so darn cool, blood just spurges out where their head was...also can blow their limbs off.......It is a fun mindless shooter so far.....WITHOUT much substance.

Anyway here are a few screenshots

your being sarcastic right, those gfx blow, they just use alot of bloom, not much geometry to anything if you look at it, and very very simple textures.

The graphics and the blowing off of heads and limbs are the BEST part of the game........it offers not much of anything else......it is a mindless shooter!

Of the last 4 games i have played I would rank them.
1. Call of Juarez

2. Kane & Lynch {This got bad reviews....but I found it much fun!}

3. SoF Payback.....bad reviews and rightly so....still mindless shooter fun to pop heads and limbs off.

4. Lost Planet.....may have gotten some decent reviews....but this was a bad port all the way....with a very lame story and no quick save feature for very tuff boss battles

I have just completed the game. the shooting during the levels was fun, because of the violence and heads popping off and limbs being blown off.

At the end of each level, you had to kill a enemy character boss......I HATED this because the guy had supernatural powers....took like tons of clips and grenades and shooting of explosive things to kill them....seemed so fake and unreal. :wtf:

The story and voice acting lacked as did most of the game....I can't recommend it, even though there was some fun to be had at the beginning and middle of the levels, even though the hit boxes are messed up for sure.

The graphics and extreme violence was good.....most everything else was bad....especially the boss battles!

Anyway here are the last of the screenshots from this game.

So true

But this really inst a SOF title tho.. Made by a Value group..

They basically just threw the SOF name on it to sell it.. I was extremely disappointed when I bought it when it came out.
