| hello guys i'm in the market for a gamepad to play a soccer game. the two joysticks i was looking at are the Saitek P990 Dual Analog Game Pad, and the Saitek P2600 Rumble Game Pad. the P2600 is CAD$6 more expensive than the P990.. (so price is not a deciding factor..). so my question is, how are they different? what would be better for playing a soccer game? oh and.. as for the soccer game, i was looking at FIFA 06 which goes for CAD$25 and 2006 FIFA World Cup which goes for $35. which one is better? both are EA so gameplay is probably the same.. if you have experience i would love to hear your input.. (even if you don't have experience i'd still like to hear what you have to say )thx a lot.

| Don't bother. Just get a PS2 pad/converter and buy a PS2 pad. That's what I've got and you can't get better then a PS2 pad in my eyes especially for playing FOOTBALL games (not soccer!!!!). The link below has got a 3in1 converter that will let you plug in a PS1/PS2, Xbox and Nintendo pad. Then all you have to do is buy whichever pad you like. You can get a pre-owned pad from Gamestation(UK) for about £12. So in total it comes to less than £30. I'm sure you can get them in the US and there probably priced about the same. You can get the single converters and there cheaper, my PS2 converter was only £10 ($7-8). I had a PS2 at home, so I use that pad. It really works well and Windows reconizes it as an analouge pad, it's responsive and every game I've tried with it works. http://www.consoleplus.co.uk/product...sb-converter-2
