Default Recovering fullscreen in pc games?

hey, not sure if this should be in windows or pc games since it concerns both but anyhow.

In a couple games i'm havign trouble in recovering fullscreen. Problem arises when I alt tab out of the game, but when I maximize it again it just maximizes windowed. Showign the border all around the screen.

Is there any windows hotkey or anythign that can make it go back fullscreen? Since the in-game options don't include fullscreen or windowed.

If that happens with a game, try to go back in the main game options and set it back to full screen there, sometimes the game resets it. Other than that, alt-tabbing out of games screws things up sometimes and most of the time there isn't really a solution for that stuff.

yeah it was for assassins creed pc. the main menu options don't have fullscreen. or really anythign for that matter.

it doesn't matter any more anyway since the pre-release is too unstable to even run past 45 min so i deleted it XD. just gonna wait till its out and buy it. That'll solve the problem.

thanks for the input though

i played assassins creed on xbox, it wasent that great. The missions were all identical. it was fun for the first few hours jumping around, but the mission idenicallness really gets annoying

if it happens again or something.... alt+enter puts games in and out of window mode (if they support it)
