| Recent WoW trouble? Just wondering if any of you other WoW heads have been having trouble lately?
Within the past week, I have had an issue come up, where the PC will completely lock up. Video freezes, sound drops out, keyboard & mouse un-responsive. Only thing to do is restart.
Funny thing is, this hardware & software has been running fine since I completed the build. The trouble only sprang up in the past week. The temps are all fine, and the machine folds 24x7 when WoW isn't running, but it ONLY locks up when WoW is running....
Anyone else? |

| Re: Recent WoW trouble? Well, came to find out the 7.11 ATi drivers were installed (after 2 attempts to upgrade to 7.12).... Uninstalled them, used driver cleaner, confirmed that 7.12 is installed, problem persists. Unfortunitly, haven't had much WoW time recently, so no time to re-install it. I will just wait till I put WinXP on one of the 500 Gig drives (haven't even had time to get to THAT recently, lol) THEN I can do fresh WoW install....
I wonder if Win XP 64 has any connection to the problem. |
