Default re-installing windows and UT2004

I re-installed windows and went to play UT2004 and it asked me to reinstall. Is there a file i can fix so i dont have to reinstall.

I have a amd 3000+ 64bit, palt 5900xt with 512 ram with latest drivers

i had this problem once as well and all i needed was some registry files with the CD key in it. hope that helps you Heat23.

The Oringal UT you could get away with installing your OS with out having to install your game again.

But with UT2kX, it's best to reinstall the game. This is a pain, especially when you have a lots of PATCHS, MAPS, MODS, MUTATORS, MODELS, SKINS and BOTS etc. etc. to install and configure.

you can back up your saved games then simply reinstall.
