| OK, I uninstalled HL2 & Steam, deleted the Steam folder manually... and reinstalled them both... Now I'm getting extremly poor performance in HL2, using exactly the same settings as before with the very same autoexec.cfg as I used before, as shown:- mat_forcemanagedtextureintohardware 1 cl_forcepreload 1 sv_forcepreload 1 cl_ragdoll_collide 1 mat_compressedtextures 0 Lowering the settings etc doesn't help, I'm just basiclly getting p*** poor fps' for some bizarre reason. And yes, everything else is working fine... Oh by the way, CS: Source doesn't even want to load up, it tells me either the servers are busy or it's not available in offline mode- but this is another matter. Can anyone give me some suggestions here? ![]()
