pc reboots when playing cd game

I was playing Call of Duty everything as fine , then I purchased Call of duty Expansion Pack . I installed the game, I have the Icons on my desktop * single player * multi player ,so far so good.When I click on the single player it ask to insert cd 1 which I do then the Cod logo comes up and then my pc reoots and I"m back to my desktop. I can play it in multi player mode no prob.
I can still play the first Call of Duty. Did I delete something ?
ps. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it same thing. HELP?

Defrag your system sounds like a corrupted executable. I doubt it is your drivers or hardware since you can play Call of Duty fine.

If that doesn't work go for another clean install. If you don't know a clean install also includes a cleared registry.
