Is there anyway I can manually add the registry keys for Oblivion?

The game is on another hard drive and I reformatted me O/S hard drive. I can still play the game but my computer doesn't think it's "installed" (no registry keys), so I can't install the patch (which I need to do to complete a quest).

I can't re-install it right now, so is there anyway I can add the registry keys?
