no cd patch help

i'm trying to install a no cd patch for mafia but i'm not sure how to do it. i just downloaded a .rar from a website and it says i have to extract it to my mafia folder and replace the original .exe file but i'm not sure how to do that. i'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me step by step how to do this. thanks a lot!

We do not support no-CD patches or problems that stem from warez. Sorry.
