Hi,

I have had NFS carbon for a while now and this was the first NFS game to not install on vista. I used to have an XP system and it worked fine on that but has problems with Vista. When i try to install Carbon it works fine up until the actualy installation proccess when it freezes at any random percentage of completion. I have tried reinstalling many times but this hasnt worked. I have also removed any files left behind and tried again.

Along with this I recently purchased NFS pro street which has similar problems. I tried installing it and got up to the "copying new files" stage and then just stopped. Sometimes is comes up with the error " windows installer has stopped working" and sometimes not. It also says DEP is preventing it from running but i have tried globally disabling that and that still hasnt worked.

My copy of vista is fully updated and I have successfully installed many games and prgograms since.

Any help would be much appreciated.
