| I had guild wars and it is sooooooo boring. It takes maybe 4 days to get to the highest level, and there arnt any unique items really, all the items are relatively easy to get which mean everyone has them. Combat is ok but repetitive as ****. The only other mmorpg I ever played was WoW for a month then got bored, it was ok and if your into mmorpgs then you should give it a shot. Personally I think mmorpgs are a snoozefest, give me a first person shooter anyday. MMORPGS could be so much crazier I think but others will disagree with me here. If they made one with diablo 2 style massive combat, where the players can dominate monsters it would be fun. MMORPGS usually seem to be fighting like 1-4 monsters at once, what happened to diablo 2 fighting 200+ at once where you were teleporting around dominating stuff. |

| I dont really like guild wars, its not the traditional MMORPG, it just Diablo 2 , cept 3d. The districts are like servers. And not teaming up is just like not muiltplayer. I like MMO's because the ones that have PvP are fun, competative and fast. Games like Pre-CU SWG, that was the good times. Im going to find out how much PvP is in MxO and WoW and then make my choice.

No but seriously, if you are still looking I'd say that the field right now isn't that great. And I'm not just saying that I've played them all. One that I'm looking at right now is Dark and Light which opens December 8th, so if you're still looking at that point you might want to check that out. Other then that I don't know, I'm still waiting for LOTRO (this spring HOPEFULLY). | |

| Guild Wars was cool for like 2 months but the chars are all pretty much the same and the enemies are impossible to kill if you ever decide to go out by yourself. Finding people to actually play the game with you is impossible in the later levels unless your are a healing monk which I think the game puts too much emphasis on and it gets boring really fast. GO WOW |

| There's a game coming out next year called Huxley that looks interesting. It's the first MMO that's intrigued me, probably because of the HL2/Deus Ex sort of feel it seems to have. Might be worth waiting for. EDIT: Post #100 |
