^ With that said, there are some major things I would change about your build. The psu is way overkill, the processor is a little lacking when compared to a Q6600 (go with that or a phenom 9850 if you want to stay AMD, might be a little more $$). And there are better graphics cards available for the cost of the 9800 gx2.

Thats fairly rubbish build actually and COD5 is quite a low demanding game. It looks like your buying from a site? Probably be cheaper to build yourself or the local computer guy if you don't feel competent to use a screwdriver. You would be best posting in the hardware section either email a mod to move the thread or make a new one

I wouldint go as far as saying its a low demanding game, it can get pretty intense when you start cranking up the aa/af and play on high resolutions.

But yeah theres a lot of flaws in that build.

CoD5 is a lot more demanding than CoD4 actually. And considering the graphics suck, I'm not sure how that works out.

Do yourself a favor and don't spend that much on a rig (but if you'd like to make a donation to me that'd be epic lol )

Buy these:

Core i7 920
MSI X58 Plat
HD 4870
3gb DDR3 Triple Channel Kit
Corsair 650tx or 750tx
Case of your Choice
Monitor (if you need one)

If he's got 3000, why not buy an hd 4870 x2? He still won't get up near 3000, but he'll be a beast.
