Default Marvel MMORPG

Alright, I work at EB Games and one of the customers came in today looking at City of Hero's. I told him it was an alright game, basically like you could make a DC or Marvel Character, but not exaxctly. He looked at me and told me yeah, Marvel is sueing NCsoft's City of Hero's because of it's Close, but not Exact Character making in the game.

I said, well I don't doubt it. But he told me that Marvel has been working on a MMORPG, and hearsay is that you get like 1,000 characters to choose from, and to custom make your own.

I was like that would be so rad. He said he couldn't remember the site he read it from but when I've been looking I've been only getting the lawsuite thing. Anybody else hear something or know of a website?

That would be interesting if MARVEL is going a MMORPG. It would be interesting to see how they would go about doing it.

The problem with Super Heroes is that it's a niche market in the computer games. Like you got CITY OF HEROES, and before that you had Freedom Force. And then you have your various console games based around a character or a group of characters, or on what ever super hereo film that might be about.

Although I am a bit of a comic book buff, my perfered style of Super Heroe is not the 70's to late 90's stereo typed masked super hereo.

It this MARVEL MMORPG turns out to be some thing like there ULTIMATE line up where is more darker and grittier, then I would be interested.
