Default Looking for good LAN RPG

Ok, so we were able to wean a brother and brother in law off WOW this past month. However, we required an intervention to remove my second brother from the game (I'm so not joking) and he's now going through WOW withdrawal (jokinging a bit now) but he does seriously miss the game.

The big problem was that RL was getting seriously neglected for the game and friends were dumping his *** so the comprimise is we find a good LAN game we can play together every once and a while, especially at our LAN party coming up in August. I played dungeon siege a while back but heard that DS2 was not so good, any other good suggestions? I don't get to play games all that much so don't know what's current. I'm an old WC2 and starcraft player...after that kind of didn't have time for serious gaming.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Yeah, for sure....we play WC3, dota, and CS:S already. Looking for something RPGish.

Was hoping to find something that is relatively new for everyone as I regularly get spanked by my brothers in WC3 and CS:S, they don't seem to get that having a real job, part time student finishing my masters and having 2 kids doesn't leave me with much practice time. Would be good to have some equal footing.

I dont know about RPG's but Stronghold Legends and Crusader are cool games... Legends is the new one and Crusader is a classic version that came out many years ago.

dota we will play and i will get my arse kicked around at, they aren't too bad but i suck, only have time to play every once and a while agaist AI.

as for legend, looks to only be a 1 player game, we'd be looking for a multiplayer RPG, similar to dungeon siege.

i have played both nwn and nwn 2 at lan games and they are a lot of fun. (we had a little contest to see who could make the most power ful character within the game, i got second.

If you would play an rts soase is fun (me and the clan have played several lan games of it and i can say it is about the most fun i have ever had.)
