| Re: List of DX10 support games, from Wikipedia I wish they would remake Empire Earth with the SAME exact game play it had originally. Just supped up graphics.
**** you sierra! You fail, stop trying, just go back to your original success.
DX10/11 EE would be so sweet.... It had such HAWT graphics back when it came out.

| Re: List of DX10 support games, from Wikipedia UT3 isnt DX10? For real? Hmm i thought about getting it later too. Oh well, ill get Quake Live/Arena then lol.
EDIT:
idk what AMD Gt Player has been smoking but these game are DX10, or patched. I've seen some of them games myself at retail stores that say support for DX10. Does it mean it really supports DX10 then? Perhaps. I can tell a difference in screenshots.

| Re: List of DX10 support games, from Wikipedia i've played all those games but shadowrun, and with the exception of that and UT3 (i'm gonna load it up and look lol) i know they're all DX10. Especially HG:L. Though DX10 still might have that nasty memory leak, dunno i gave up on the game.
As well age of conan currently does Not support DX10. They screwed it up somehow so it's going to be patched in in august or something :/

| Re: List of DX10 support games, from Wikipedia By memory leak I mean that while loading textures and whatnot, the memory used wasn't being cleared properly, thus building up over time. After about 2 hours of play in DX10 mode I remember my ram usage beign over 4GB. Shortly after that it would crash due to low memory.
DX9 had the same issue but it was less prevalent. I could run about 8 hours before the game would start to fail at loading textures and crash. I followed up on the developer forums for quite a while but they could never pinpoint what was causing the issue.
I haven't looked in a while because I stopped caring about HG:L after the first time i beat it. had no replay value, but that's neither here nor there.
As far as UT3 goes, it's odd. There's nothing in or around the game or game files that suggests anythign about DX10 Or DX9. No options, documents, nothing.
After some light digging around every source you can find on the internet says it's guaranteed DX10 compliant, and part of the "the way its meant to be played" program or whatever. Although DX10 is not a requirement, for systems that don't have it. For systems that are DX10 compliant you have no choice in what mode to run the game. It will always pick DX10 over 9. That's what I found out anyway.
I can't see dx9 vs 10 making any difference in the way ut3 plays anyway. The graphics are only a little over par and there's just a huge overuse of HDR lighting. Great game and all, but dx10 would make 0 difference at all so it doesn't really matter anyway.
