| I want to buy a really good online multi player fps. I don't care about single player, just multi player. I like playing fps's were you can have upgrades at higher levels, better guns, lots of customization options, etc... or just lots of class options. So, anybody know of any good fps's like that? I was considering BF2, etc...

| Really? I've heard loads of good things about CoD4, but I've played it on the 360 and didn't like it too much. That was probably because there were only 4 of us... So is there a leveling system? Are there gun upgrades? (eg. new scopes, new guns, etc...) =D

| Ya, I haven't played it yet, but I've seen it at my friends house, you can buy a gun you want, mod it to your liking, like buy a Scope and unlock guns at certain levels and a level system of course EDIT: Xfire - Gaming Simplified look at the bottom left of top games of today, this game has been out for a real short time, but its probably one of the most played games out right now, its beating out BF2 which has been out for a couple of years too

| I also second CoD 4. You have 55 levels to go up, each level unlocking a new option to customize yourself with. It can be a weapon or a perk (perks can be anything from last stand which lets you whip out a pistol when you die to extra frag grenades). Then for every weapon there's unlockable attachments and skins which you get by killing people and getting headshots, respectively. Not a lot of character customization like in Rainbow Six Vegas, but it's got better gameplay. |

| BF2 and COD4 are both great games. Both have a very different feel, though. COD4 has the run and gun feel of the UT series, whereas BF2 doesn't. BF2 moves slower, but has vehicles... lots and lots of vehicles, such as tanks, choppers, and jets.

| yeah, that's something that bugs me about BF2. I've played the demo and it's basically a vehicle war game. =/
