  | a friend of mine has a 64mb video card and hl2 looks as good as the orginal five years ago.

| Yes, if you don't have a high end system, you can run HL2, but it will look very HL1-ish.

| I can run it at 1024x768 with high detail and 4x AF and it runs really smooth. There's a little texture thrashing here and there, but with the way it looks i can deal
