|  heeeeelp .. Gta SA save files in vista
Hi ,
I have windows vista & I'm playing GTA SA v1.0.0.0 ... it is working very fine ..
there is one problem :
I CAN'T FIND MY SAVE FILES
It is NOT in the documents !
I have to copy it because I'm going to format my pc ... & I don't want to re-do all the missions !!
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

After a Google search the best advice I've seen is go to:
c:\users\<your username>\local settings\app data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\
For Vista.

In Vista for all games you can go to the "GAMES" folder: Click on START and then "GAMES". Once all your games load in this window you can right click on any game icon and select "Saved Games" and it will open the folder for you.

It worked for me with this game. Why can't you access this folder? What is the error?

That's where it is on mine. | that is in XP .. I have vista !! there is no documents and settings ...

maybe because I have windows vista ultimate !! | enable the option to see hidden folders. After that go to your app data folder located in your profile folder. Look around in those folders for it.

I did that ... it is visible but does not open !
I tried to edit security settings for it but I still get the access denied message !!
a new thing :
I copied the game folder .. when I ranned the game from the new folder <<The copy>> THERE WERE NO SAVES !!
I feel stupied ! this is the first time I can't get the save file for a game !!!
after a lot of google searchs I found that this is a known problem with vista ultimate ... I hope I will find a way & I will post the solution here .. thanks
