Default Got It Working Great! (56k Warning.. too many pics )

I got Crysis working great...using the Ultra High Custom Config. 1.3.1

I also made a custom resolution in Nvidia control panel that gave me a few frames per second boost.

Game is looking good and running good

i need to get a second gig of ram since oen stick whent doa to max it out, it lags bad for me even on medium and crysis is a very ram dependant game, also i need to fidn a better custom config yours blows mien away amd we have almost the same gpu. especially with my oc on my 8800gts, at 790, and 1000.

Amd gt player...I strongly suggest the Ultra High Quality 1.3.1 config mod.

Just download and follow the readme.

The mod made my game look Much better....plus I picked up a couple frames per second at 1680x1050....but even then my frames went up and down like a yoyo....like from low 20s to mid 30's....if I would just stand still and move my mouse to spin my head around the frames went crazy....too me that is just bad optimization....anyway making a custom resolution in Nvidia control panel to run at 1440x900 gave me a boost of about 5-6 frames....which got me to where i am playing it now.

A BIG KUDOS to who ever made the Ultra High quality config, as it blows away the vanilla setting on my pc.

well i downloaded it, and i ran the benchmark with 1gb of ram and i got 32.4fps. it should go up quite a bit when i get a new set of ram. im on 1280x1024 so it should ge tgood fps after i get my new set of ram im orderign it tomorow, i can play currently btu once teh ra mfills the whole pc freezes, i know its because my memory is fillign that the comp is freezing as i had teh dev mode on, and once i hit 600/700 mb it froze the system uses bout 300mb ram so it makes sence. cannot wait to play this poperly, i may restart from the beginign im at the point where you drive the tank thru the valley.

I have run into some annoying little glitches and I even had a script error where a level would not end....I found a walk around for it on the internet.

For a game that got this much hype and took so long to develope...it should have been polished up alot better than that IMO. I have had these issues after applying both patches! It seems like all they really cared about was making the game "pretty"....They did that just fine. I guess I just expected more..

All this being said I am still having fun playing the game.

Here are a few more screenshots.
