Hi,
I just got my Gears of war, it required my to update my Nvidia driver at least 165.44 version to continue to play .So i installed the latest driver version 165.75
and restart my computer, then the black screen shown after loading the Windows....

WHAT CAN I DO TO UPDATE THE DRIVER ? - i am sure i got the right driver

my specs:

AMD X2 3800+
2x1gb ram
xfx 7600gt XXX edition
M2n32 SLI DELUXE

Technically the latest driver is 169.13. But ya, im getting errors and crashes in gears too. Welcome to NVIDIA - Graphics Cards, Motherboards, Notebooks, Desktop PCs get the latest driver.

im using 169.12 and have no problems.
when i get problems after installing new drivers, i got back to the old ones, if problem solved then i wait till a new drivers realeased.

I had problems with 169.02 and 169.09, havent tried the .13 yet to see if it fixes my problem.

Where can i get the older driver ? coz if i want to play gears of war ,it required me to update the driver at least version 165.44

what is the difference between 163.75 version and 169.09 version_

you can get some of the older nvidia drivers from here:
download from Guru3D.com

I think they also have the NGO optimized nvidia drivers for xp.
