| Fifa 08 (PC) Why does it always look like the developers port it from the PS2 version when developing it for PC?! IT LOOKS SOOOO BAD ON ABSOLUTE MAX SETTINGS!! 2D sprites for crowds. A solid green field, and low-res, heavily compressed, possibly 16-bit textures all-round... in 2008??? Severely disappointed. I sure hope it doesn't look like that on PS3 or 360. I don't care about the different modes available and the addition of different leagues and teams... concentrate on international teams only and emphasize graphics. I preferred the arcade feel of Fifa 98 too, now it's just a little too intricate as far as game mechanics go.
Any alternatives to this crappy EA series with better graphics and a more arcade-oriented gameplay system?
And for once I actually have a legit version of a PC game.. although I didn't buy it, borrowed it from a friend, so if anything, I'm complaining on his behalf. I really abhor EA sports games.

| Re: Fifa 08 (PC) ^ yah, same here, but I'm a wee bit of a soccer fan, so I don't mind a soccer pc game, but more arcade-styled, I was never into the FIFA series, I played Fifa98, which I really liked at the time, then I played 06 and 08... both of them seem identical to me, I seriously can't tell them apart at all...

| Re: Fifa 08 (PC) I can tell many differences between 06/07/08 but there all minor and 08's cinematic special effects are actually worse than 07. On ps3 and 360 its alot better but why not make it next gen on pc aswell. i was very dissapointed because i really enjoy fifa on pc, and i dont like being left behind when computer can handle next gen.
and the commentary is crappy as usual
