No dog fighting.

Imaging your 'COMMANDING' a space-ship, as opposed to piloting one.

Its a good game if your willing to spend a long time learning the ropes, (read: learning, not grinding XP, as XP does not exist in this game)

Doesn't matter how many NPCs you kill, you won't level up, ever. The game is a balance between stats gained through time online, and actually player intelligence / twitch / skill.

I believe their is a free 14 day trial. Test it out.

Its not bad, huge learning curve but don't expect combat like freelancer or X1,2,3 series its point click like most MMORPGS. There are know levels just stats that go up. I found the worst thing about it is travelling it takes far too long, you can setup way points then go and get something to eat and drink come back and your not their yet.

The best thing about the game is the user interface and tutorials its very well made and I experienced no lag except when going to another sector.

Character creation is top notch and the intro with a nice history of events and races is a nice touch to the game.

I recommend downloading the 14 day trial though first you will either love the game or think its boring and dull so best to test it out:

From what I have been told, you really need to put aside 14 day to try this game out due to it's steep learning curve.

I have tried it out once. I am going to give this game a go a second time when I have actually fine some time to sit down with this game.

If you are after an MMO with Dog Fighting, then I would suggest Space Cowboy Online
It's free, and it pretty good.
