Default Episode 1

Anyone know where I can get those release teasers that valve has released through the steam media applet? They don't seem to be working for some reason and wanna see if they have any in-game footage

thank ya...still not showing any gameplay though although if those trailers are infact using the in-game engines they've really taken the textures and shades to a whole new level, plus the HDR effects look pretty **** good

The 4 videos at gamespot seem to be showing gameplay at least a couple of times. Most of the scenes they show are no doubt scripted and not part of gameplay, but they dont look rendered or anything.

However, I don't really notice a difference in shadowing or lighting or anything like that. Of course this is crappy lo-res videos.

nah what I mean by gameplay is stuff you actual play in the game...I didn't see much of that apart from a quick shot of what I saw to be the gravity gun and possibly the one scene where you're riding down that train thing

you may not notice any lighting/texture changes if you're looking at lost coast as it doesn't look like much, but HDR will make this game a lot prettier than the first IMO and I wanna see what it looks like in a night/dark environment
