Thumbs up EP2 Thoughts? (Spoilers)

I just finished the game. 8hrs on hard. First off, having this game craaaaanked up on my 20" widescreen was phenomenal. The lighting was immaculate, the scenery was so complex, and those physics!!! Even the first scene had my jaw on the floor, watch that bridge go down at 80fps, crumbling to pieces, and that aftershock rumbling my desk. The Source engine is so incredibly solid its amazing. The game looks, feels, and plays beautifully.

It was so cinematic at times too. It really gave me a sense of being there, and feeling the big picture. The setting of the rebel base in white forest is superb. And then in the first five minutes Alyx gets impaled 0_o. And then later the G-Man comes and freaks the **** out of you with his tricksy words! ahhh! and **** those disruptors!!! Valve you are amazing.

What a great story; and the skill to bring that to the point of touching player emotional is something to be marveled at. This was better than HL2 and EP1 combined...
