I recently installed the EaW Gold Pack and I keep getting this error:

"Unable to authenticate original disc within time limit.
Try again?"

I click Retry and this message pops up:

"Original disc could not be found or authenticated."

I am using the original disc I bought from the store. Can anyone explain this dilema to me?

I already have the latest version of the game. 1.05.

your talking about starwars right, if so i got this error too along time ago go to the website and get the latest pach. that fixed it for me.

Yes, Star Wars Empire at War. I guess I should have said that.

hmm ok have you tried getting a crack for it. since you leagly own the game it's ok to get a no cd/dvd crack.
