i think he meant mount a game image and then burn. that works just fine.
but your right its still unplayable without using a provided crack, eliminating CD use.

I've just been using steam lately and avoiding cd's altogether XD

If you are talking about games around the era of Halo, then yes. You can simply copy the files on the CD and then copy them to your hard drive. Install and play.

If that is way it's going to be, I think I would rather purchase my DRM Effected games from STEAM. At least I came move my Steam Account around.

well I think it's lunacy, Is this DRM going to stop pirates? no, if anything Its going to encourage them. Honestly I don't think any form of DRM is going to reduce piracy by any amount.
Plus people like me who buy games are going to get ****ed off and not buy games, I didn't buy bioshock (and won't do) and I swear I wont buy any other game ever that has restrictive DRM. Not only that but I advise my friends not to either.

So, in short the developer has absolutely nothing to gain but they have custom to loose.... lunacy.

I will NEVER buy a game that wants to connect that often, sure if I install it, or grab an official update, but every few days is a no go. That, and I am a dial up user...
