Default doom3 or doom 3: Resurrection of Evil

i have doom3 but i don't have doom 3 restriction of evil,
i want just to know if doom3: restriction of evil levels are better or the original doom3

I think the levels are better on the expansion, but I really wish I got better framerates on them. The original Doom 3 runs so much smoother it seems.

it's 'resurrection' of evil, not 'restriction'

The games are exactly the same except expansion pack ripped off HL2's gravity gun and you get this heart that gives you powers and crap

If you enjoyed Doom 3, then you'll enjoy RoE.

RoE is slightly more demanding in places than vanilla D3, I think Nerve tweaked various particle effects, and of course you've got large outdoor areas with more action going on than in vanilla D3.
