Default Diablo 2

Whenever I try to make an amazon character on single or battle.net it comes up with the error message whilst loading:

Halt
Location: D2CMP\SRC\Codec.cpp, line #1639
Expression: Error decompressing sprite - possible corruption in data file: AMLGlitRNhth

If anyone can help me or if it is just a file that needs to be replaced can you email it to me at and_tyler_said@hotmail.com
I've tried reinstalling the game.

Check out your video card, it could be something in there.....incorrect driver or something. If that doesn't work, make a backup of your existing characters somewhere else on your computer and reinstall Diablo. It's possible it could be a game problem, but less likely than a driver/video card thing.

I reinstalled the latest drivers and that didn't work. I'm pretty sure it's a corrupted file, maybe the CD is scratched or it's been next to my monitor too long.
