Default CSS Private Server Prob

When I try to join a private server in css it stays at "Connecting to server" then goes back to console and says "Connection failed after 4 retries". I tried joining a pub and that worked fine though, but whenever I try to connect to any private one the same thing happens. It worked fine yesterday and I havent changed any settings since then. My friend is also having the same problem though, so I thought something might be messed up with my copy-pasting..

Help pls!

The server host needs to open his ports on his router.

I can assist you if you like.

Do you know the make of his router?

ex:lynksis, d-link.

If he dosen't have a router then let me know.

This was on multiple servers. 3 out of 3 that I tried did the exact same thing and I've never had this happen before.

Ive been trying to create a private dedicated server for a while now, and everytime I try to launch it, it says "could not allocate dedicated udp port" even though I have all of the ports open on my router, and I have evern tried running my router in dmx mode only to see the same message... any ideas?

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread I just thought I would join a similiar thread rather than create a new one.
