Crysis Dx 10 and Dx 9 Problem?

Hey, this is very weird, but my computer will run Crysis at all high to very high depending on how over clocked it is. Just to be safe and lag free i run it on all high. I have windows 64bit and run the game in 64 bit mode. The thing that i find weird is if i load the most Graphically intense part of the game "Iceworld" in Dx10 the fps are pretty low, but in dx9 there perfect at 50-60, But if after running dx9 for a few mins i reload it in dx10 the fps are just as good as it was in dx 9. Anyone know whats going on here?

Are you sure you didn't get a false reading the first time you loaded the game in Dx10?

Have you got all things updated? Game and OS? Moved to PC Gaming. Not really a Windows issue.

i always use to get lower performance when playing this game in 64bit...

Yes, i am sure. It is almost unplayable the first time i load it in Dx10.

Maybe because the 2nd time you load it the game is still actually playing in DX9 mode?
