get more ram ..im gettin 1gb ..today DDR Ram Dual Channel

I have 2gb ddr, 300gb hard drive, intel pentium 4 2.8GHz, XFX Geforce 6600 256mb, Asus p4s800D-X

Do you have a CS:S shortcut on your desktop? If so right click it then go to properties, and where it says target, go all the way to the end of the text and type:
-console

This used to help the loading time by bringing up the console on the main menu. Reason I say used to is i think one of the updates was suposed to "optimize" game loading time.

Try it out, wont do no harm.

I saw somewhere that you can stop the high res screen from loading on steam forums... Maybe it was just for Half-Life 2.

kitire i think its only for HL2 because i remember reading it on steam forums as well
