some refresh rates can be 75, but any monitor i've had were limited to 60hz.

My previous acer could do 75, but this one only 60.

CS:S is mostly about playing smart... IDK about now since i haven't played it for some time but at a certain point it becomes all about thinking and not about aiming.

A lot of guys just run around and "run and gun". I tried playing it and found it boring, same with day of defeat. Cod4 is much better in graphics and gameplay, especially with weapon selection. Spawn camping and snipers are a big problem though.

in every game i play i set the max fps for 60 w/ vsync, because well my monitor, as well as most out there, can only show 60 fps. so i hope u guys have fun with 100+ fps because it really doesnt mean anything when ur monitor can only show 60.

also as for cs2 i wouldnt mind it, im still stuck on 1.6, ive been playing it for 7 years, played source for a few months but went back. it would be nice for them in introduce some new weapons. AND BRING BACK THE SHIELD!!!!

yep ^_^

i just ran the CS bench for fun and averaged 256 lol
i always throw vsync on too.

i mean think about it. all you guys saying you need 100+ fps. Your monitor only refreshes the image 60 times per second. So even if your game is running at 400FPS you will only see 60 frames worth of picture/second. ^^ 75 on some rare monitors >.>
