Default is this cooling fan good enough?

can anyone tell me the cooling fan include with CPU Q66OO is good enough for HTPC/gaming.Because i have deal on ebay for $253.00-Q6600 without cooling fan and Newegg.com-$279.99 with cooling fan.thanks

The cooling fan is good enough for stock. Just not overclocking.

actually people have reported that their temps go over 60 degrees with a b3 on stock.... but its a safe bet that the eBay one is a b3 and not g0

I have the stock HSF on a G0 stepping Q6600 and I am VERY stably running 3.0 GHz. Load temps are under 50 degrees, about 46-48.
