| after a 4 month break (had to focus on girl and school) I am getting back into gaming again, looking at upgrading my machine. I was playing Quake 4, but I am thinking of a new FPS and looking around for a good one to learn. one thing I noticed is that competitive gaming seems, well, dead? don't know if that is the right word but not a lot going on for FPS. if i am going to learn a new FPS, it would be cool to also follow a gaming league/series competitin on it cuz that really adds to it - like following Toxic while playing Quake 4 made it better for me. any ideas on a new FPS that might have a competition seriers for it?

| well, very few if any fps have a following competitive like quake. Watching him play at quakecon 07 was like nothing i had ever seen before. Css has 5v5 tourneys with teams like check-6ix and such, and fear has some good 1v1 tourney going

| Yeah, Quake had a good series with CPL and WSVG, and it would be good to see another good world tour series with Quake or another FPS.
