Angry COD: World at War is critical errors galore!

It is literally impossible for me to play WaW... I'm ready to throw this game out the window!

Whenever I try to start this game, it just crashes before I can do anything. Sometimes I don't even make it to the menu. I have patched the game, reinstalled it multiple times, **** I even formatted one of my raptors and installed just plain old XP, and it still doesn't work. What is going on?!?!

The game is buggy, it was worse in beta.

You have to wait for it to load, it takes a while. Also, to join servers refresh the list once, exit and reenter the game. A new patch will be coming out soon.

Also make sure you have the latest version of dx9 from august 2008 installed.

I don't get a chance to wait for it to load. It just crashes...

I'll double check the DX9 thing but I'm pretty sure its up to date

If it crashes then the latest DX9 isnt installed, its one of the things that were found in beta.

Install it and it will run, even without the patch. The patch does make it much better though, and the next should help a lot more.

Still doesn't work :/

Well I just got to watch the entire opening movie of the single player campaign and then in the middle of loading I heard the windows "dun" sound and the game stops responding just like always. That is the farthest I have ever gotten. This is really irritating

Could be just buggy, because that doesn't happen for everyone, or even the majority i'd say, judging from how many people are actually playing.

I haven't experienced a single load issue, or crash bug, so I can't really say.

I've had my display drivers fail crash a few times, but thats after I exit the game, when i get back to desktop.
I think that's just the terrible ATI drivers though. Happens after a lot of games, and sometimes just randomly for no apparent reason. Not really CoD related.

Maybe it's an nvidia issue XD /joke
