| Hi guru, Here is my problem that no help yet found on the net. My cyber cafe has 40 PC linked up. Since I prepared that with Ghost, Windows 98,..., Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (NFSHP), I did not type in individually cdkeys. Now problem happened that LAN-playing NFSHP is not allowed because of cdkey conflict. Any savior to help me how to change setting in each PC's registry to overcome this - I have cdkeys on hand. ( I had found some relevant entries in Registry under NFS but seemed encrypted. Thanks. |

| Admin | If you have the CD keys, what is the problem with putting them in and establishing play? Dave ![]()

| he would have to reinstall it on all of the PCs, hes just wanting to know if there is a way to change it in the registry i dont know about the registry, but a good, fast way to get software to alot of PCs really fast is active directory, with MSIs, im not sure how well that would work with needing a bunch of different cd-keys, we use it here at work, but all of our software has the same CD-keys for each PC, we just buy more licenses |

| i had this happen to my game once, i ended up reinstalling the whole operating system. reinstalling the game still kept the old cd-key somewhere inside the operating system. after i used the new cd-key to install the game i still could not play multiplayer games. you should find some forums that deal specifically with games and ask for help. |
