Default can't play crysis (windows vista)

i have the latest drivers for the video card which is 163.09 i think and its the beta one and the os is windows vista ultimate but after a few seconds after it reaches 100% it says crysis has stopped working. does anyone have similar problem like mine? specs are listed on my sig.

Graphics card: Inno3D Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS @ 640/940 (core/memory)
MB: Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 v3.3 F12
RAM: 2 Kingston HyperX DDR2 800MHz (4GB total)
CPU: Core 2 Duo E6320 @variable rates (will fix my fan problem soon and overclock high again)
HSF: Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme & Antec Tricool 120mm fan
PSU: Delta Serverpower 550W
HD: Seagate 400GB ST340032AS & Excelstor 80GB (both SATA)
Case: don't know what case it is but it is very crappy
Optical Drive: Lite-on 16X DVD+&- RW DL (died) using a CD-ROM drive until I get a new blu ray burner or whatever i can get

Vista is plagued with compatability problems. If you're trying to play the Crysis BETA, then you're SOLJWF because Crytek didn't make the Beta to support Vista. If you're trying to play the single player demo, it should work under Vista. Have you tried uninstalling/re-installing?

anyway, one workaround would be to install the Sandbox editor and start yourself off from the beginning of the map, it plays just as good windowed...

oh wait... i think i downloaded the demo... not sure but i just got the official release that was released on october 26th so probably it is the demo that i installed. and yeah where do i download or get the sandbox editor for crysis???
