| I download the demo of doom3 to make sure my computer can run it. Instead of going out and buying the game and not being about to play it. I am glad I did. I get this error when I try to open the game. | Looks like you have a 32MB Integrated graphics card. That is no where near powerful enough for Doom 3. You will need at least a 64MB AGP graphics card to play Doom 3, but even then it will still be choppy.

| yes man you do need at least 64MB vram. i too have onboard intel extreme 32MB. but after increasing ram 512 i get 64MB vram and so am able to play doom3 in the lowest reso but am still facing some chopping at times . hard luck fella. opt for an upgrade you sure need it to play anything now-a-days. |

| Plus, Doom 3 was made with the gaming computer in mind, with an expensive graphics card to play it on. The computers you get for $900 that have integrated graphics just don't cut it for Doom.
