| I've been having trouble with my laptop for a while; It won't let me play any games. I've tried re-installing DirectX 9.0 and 8.1; That doesn't fix the problem. I've also tried downloading newer drivers for my display adapter, and that didn't help (mainly because there isn't a new one...). It says "Can't create D3D Device. Please, check DirectX or display adapters". If there are any other possible solutions I haven't tried, or if I might not have installed DirectX correctly (When I opened the EXE, it spouted a bunch of .zip files, and then all I did was open the DXSETUP.exe; Should I have done something else with the zip files?), please tell me. Thank You! ~Ello |
