Wow thats not much time to research these products, I mean these are just recommendations (good ones at that, and are worth looking into) but your need to carefully research everything you are looking at. I mean I spent 2 and a half months researching the things im going to get my future computer, you dont want to buy **** and then realize there is something else that you should have gotten and then be really ****ed off about it.

So please do more research!!

If you want Fast *** ram for gaming, go with Either the Corsair XMS series or the Kingston HyperX, preferably PC3200, Im not really a RAM genious, there are other people who could give you a better answer on some of the other stuff like timings and what not.

O BTW you prolly want at leat a gig of RAM, there really is no need for more than that since it doesnt really do much.

1024=Best for gaming and future games
512=Standard for gaming for now but future games will need without a doubt 1024MB
256=Not very good upgrade now!

Default just about the guy who is gonna update to a prescot

hey look i just thought that i should warn u against the prescot 3.2 ghz that u are looking at buying. i read a review in pcpower play a month or 2 ago that shoud that the northwood (c) is faster than the prescot due to the long pipe lind in the prescot. ( a long pipe line means that each clock cycle takes longer) so please don't wase your maney on a prescot they are also problomatic to set up and a pain in the arse to keep cool. they generally suck
so if u must buy pentium (go AMD) the for gods sake buy an Northwood and don't get ripped off

its not that great (its integrated into board btw) I get like 15 FPS AV on Americas Army, but i also have a p4 1.8 ghz, so its pretty ****ty, sometimes i get as low as 3 FPS on highly detailed maps!!!!!!!!!! So wouldnt recommend it, but the 9600XT is a good solution for a temporary card for about $160.
